Automotive Engine

KEE works with manufacturers that offer commercial generators that use modified automotive engines that can easily be serviced using readily available, cost-effective parts. These engines are produced in high volume allowing KEE the ability to pass along the cost savings to our customers.

Noise-Reduction

All our manufacturers offer Noise-Reduction technologies. Generally they reduce noise to a whisper by lowering engine speed during the generator’s weekly self-test. The Noise-Reduction sound level is comparable to a car at idle.

Superior Electrical Protection

Air-cooled models feature an electronic governor, which maintains steady speed and eliminates voltage drop when loads are applied. This, as well as the automatic voltage regulator, provides a smooth rate of electricity, which is especially important for sensitive electronic devices such as computers.

Superior Paint

The manufacturers that we work with use a textured; powder coat paint process provides consistent coverage and better bonding to seams and exposed edges providing durability and a long-lasting, tough finish.

Aluminum Enclosure(optional on some manufacturer models)

The manufacturers the we work with offer generators that are available in a corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosure to better withstand the elements. This option is especially important for homes in southern and coastal communities.

Automatic Exerciser

We will install a generator that has an automatic seven (7) day test of your system allows you to verify that your generator is in peak operating condition at all times.

Automatic Transfer Switch

The automatic transfer switch automatically switches the source of power from the utility to the generator within seconds of a power outage. Because it’s automatic, you never have to flip a switch.

Convenient Fuel Supply

KEE installed generators operate on natural gas or LP gas service. This provides you with unlimited run time during extended utility power failures.

Maintenance Friendly

Our manufacturers offer Air-cooled models featuring a hinged top and removable front panel. Liquid-cooled models feature large, removable doors. This provides easy and quick access for maintenance and servicing.

Automatic Safety Shutdowns

Our manufacturers offer Automatic safety shutdowns protect the engine and generator in the event of low oil pressure, high temperature, overspeed and/or overcrank.

Protective Enclosure

All outdoor panels will protect your generator from harmful weather and includes key locks for security. Sound-absorbing panels also reduce exterior noise levels.

Battery Charger

A built-in battery charger ensures that the battery remains at an optimum performance level.

UL-Listed

For your safety, KEE only installs equipment that are UL listed. This validates safety and kilowatt ratings.

EPA and CARB Emission Requirements

KEE will only install generators that meet these requirements.
